British Woodworking Federation

The British Woodworking Federation is the trade association for the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry in the UK. It has over 500 members drawn from manufacturers, distributors and installers of a wide range of products including timber doors, windows, conservatories, staircases, all forms of architectural joinery including shop fitting, timber frame buildings and engineered timber components, as well as suppliers to the industry.

Secured by Design

Established in 1989, Secured by Design (SBD) is owned by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO). SBD is the umbrella group for national police projects focusing on the design and security of new and refurbished homes, commercial premises and car parks, as well as the acknowledgement of quality security products and crime prevention projects.
