The Role

A new exciting opportunity has arisen within the company for the position of Contracts Office Manager.

We have identified a sales opportunity to grow our direct sales with national and regional house builders plus organically-grown contractor sales via the new contracts office.

The office will operate with a staffing level of two and is budgeted to achieve a sales turnover of around £1.2 million for 2014/2015.

The ideal candidate will need to be a good leader and have existing contacts. They will also require good product knowledge, excellent sales ability and margin awareness, in order to take the department forwards and maximise profitability.

The position will work alongside sales and commercial colleagues within the company, and include responsibility for:

• Communicate and explain the supplier agreements to branches.

• Identifying new products.

• Participation within a team currently investigating potential supply chain and logistical improvements through the introduction of a central warehousing function.

• The building industry and the usage/application of the products he/she is responsible for.

The Role

We are currently seeking an Administration Assistant to join us at our branch in Dartford. You will be responsible for assisting in running an efficient and effective office. We are looking for candidates who have experience in working in an office environment, to include purchase ledger, who are well-organised and are confident in using Microsoft packages. As well as being confident, you will need good communication skills with a “can-do” attitude and enjoy working as part of a team. The hours are flexible and will be discussed if your application is successful.
