The Garador selection includes a wide variety of garage door types, including sectional doors and traditional up-and-over garage doors. Available in a variety of materials including steel, timber and GRP in both standard and special sizes, plus a choice of colours, the range features something for every situation.
Up-and-over garage doors
Howarth Timber & Building Supplies provide traditional up-and-over garage doors constructed from timber, steel or glass reinforced polyester (GRP). Each of these materials has its own benefits: steel up-and-over doors are robust and give great value for money; timber doors are well insulated and have an appealing look, while GRP doors are extremely low maintenance offering a timber effect without the maintenance of real wood, making them a perfect long term solution.
Sectional garage doors
The sectional garage door has many benefits over traditional up-and-over doors. Where limited drive space is a problem, sectional garage doors are the perfect choice as they open and shut vertically, allowing cars to park in close proximity to the door without impairing functionality. Sectional doors do not take up as much room when opened, leaving more height in the garage making them a popular choice for 4x4s and other tall vehicles.
Steel garage doors
To ensure maximum security for your garage, a steel door is the perfect choice. Howarth Timber & Building Supplies steel garage doors are available in white, brown and now a wide selection of other colours, across a range of designs to suit both traditional and contemporary door styles. As with all Howarth Timber & Building Supplies products every steel door is equipped with effective security features including a multi-point latching system and steel locking bars.
Roller doors
The GaraRoll is an insulated roller garage door, supplied with an electric operator and two handsets as standard. Its engineering excellence and quality craftsmanship let this door stand out from other products offered in today‘s marketplace. The GaraRoll is available in 7 standard colours and many standard and custom made sizes. The GaraMatic roller door, in comparison to other models in the market place comes with a full barrel cover to maximize customer security. The door mechanism is spring based and has for a pressure sensitive emergency mechanism, opening the door when the closing cycle is interrupted by an obstacle or a person.
Side-hinged doors
The Garador range of side-hinged timber doors combines quality craftsmanship and attractive, traditional appeal. As standard, they come with a lever handle set. A knob handle for added security is optionally available. Side-hinged doors come with equal sized leaves, with the right hand leaf leading as standard, left hand leaf leading is optional. Alternatively, all side-hinged doors are available in a one third / two third configuration.
Personnel doors
To further enhance the appearance of your garage we can now provide a side door to match many of our Up & Over designs. These doors are produced in much the same way as our Up & Over doors, showing the same details and finished in exactly the same colour to provide a perfect match
Electric operators
GaraMatic operators and Garador garage doors are a tried and tested unit hardware, perfectly matched and prepared for easy installation. For your safety all GaraMatic operators of course comply with the latest European standards (BS 13241) such as automatic reversal and self-monitoring closing forces. Security is provided by the integral anti-burglar device preventing the door from forced unauthorized entry.
