Howarth Timber Group has announced that Howarth Timber Engineering Ltd will now incorporate Marlows Timber Engineering, which was acquired by the Group in 2003.
The combined businesses provide full national coverage and specialise in the design, supply and installation of bespoke roof trusses, timber frame systems and the SilentFloorâ – iLevel joist system, from seven units strategically located to serve the whole country.
The business has full Chain of Custody certification to the FSC, PEFC, SFI, CSA and MTCC schemes and serves an extensive customer base within sectors covering builders and contractors, housing associations, local authorities and public bodies as well as architects and designers, plus the self-build market.
Managing Director, Roger Smith, said: “Howarth and Marlows have been involved in timber engineering products for over 30 years and as the timber engineering market develops, it makes sense that our identity is based on the Howarth Timber Engineering name. Our combined teams will allow us to optimise and improve the national supply and service we give to our customers. These are exciting times and we plan significant growth and product development.”
