Howarth Timber Engineering Ltd has announced today it has agreed to acquire Boise Building Products Ltd (BBPL).
Based at Upper Heyford, BBPL is an authorised dealer of Boise Engineered Wood Products, comprising I Joists and complementary laminated veneer lumber. Boise's wholesale business, Boise Engineered Wood Products Ltd, is unaffected by this acquisition and will continue to concentrate on expanding its network of authorised dealers and promoting specification of the Boise brand.
Howarth Timber Engineering's MD Roger Smith commented, "We announced our commitment to the Boise brand in June, and this planned acquisition underlines our determination to develop this sector of our business."
