Howarth Timber & Building Supplies is about to unveil its latest branch, marking the completion of a £½m investment in Accrington.
The two-storey retail store on Market Street, Church will stock comprehensive ranges of timber and building products, as well as featuring timber flooring and softwood and hardwood doors. Externally on the two acre site is a substantial decking, natural stone paving and structural walling display, and more than 30 fence options are featured to help customers enhance their garden designs. The branch also houses an extensive brick library of around 500 samples, ensuring builders can match precisely to existing brickwork or choose a design to their customer’s specification.
Complementing all of this, customers will benefit from Howarth’s unrivalled expertise across all its products ranges.
The branch marks the return to Accrington of 39-year-old Mick Ingham, who has been appointed branch manager. Mr Ingham has more than 20 years’ experience of serving the construction industry, and is well known amongst building professionals in the region.
“Rather than move house in the current economic climate, homeowners are keen to develop their existing properties, which is why we’re confident in opening this new store,” said Mick. “Our other branches in the region, including those in Blackburn and Darwen, are all trading well and we’re sure our new Accrington store will be no exception.”
The branch will open its doors on Monday 22 September, and the official launch week which starts a week later will see promotions on most products throughout the store. Product experts will be there to answer customers’ questions and there’ll be an opportunity to win a number of high value prizes ranging from holiday vouchers to a brand new BMW car!
