NEW CORBY HOWARTH MANAGER GOING FOR GROWTH

27/07/2009

The recently appointed new manager at Howarth Timber & Building Supplies’ branch in Corby says he is determined to weather the storm in the construction industry and ensure the business is ready to capitalise on future growth.

That’s the aim of Michael Brambini, 38, who has just taken over the reins at the timber and builders’ merchant on Geddington Road.

“It’s no secret that the construction market is experiencing pressures at the moment, but undoubtedly Howarth is enjoying unprecedented support from the region’s builders, joiners and DIY customers,” said Michael. “With this loyalty and, of course, the right mix of products on our shelves and in our sheds, we’re perfectly poised to capitalise when the markets grow once again.”

Howarth Timber & Building Supplies serves a broad range of customers, from individuals looking to improve their homes, to small builders and large contractors. With ever increasing legislation affecting the construction trade, the branch is stocking greater ranges of products such as insulation materials to meet emerging demands.

“I have notched up 21 years’ service in the industry, the last nine years of which have been with one of Howarth’s competitors,” added Michael. “I moved to Howarth so I could be in a hands-on role and closer to customers. Equally, my colleagues here are very experienced and are happy to share their knowledge.”

Howarth Timber & Building Supplies is part of the Howarth Timber Group, the UK’s largest privately owned timber companies. The business encompasses a network of timber and builders’ merchant branches, Howarth Windows & Doors and Howarth Timber Engineering.
