NEW HOWARTH SALES EXECUTIVE UNDERLINES CONFIDENCE IN CONSTRUCTION

Howarth Timber & Building Supplies in Thorne has expanded its team with the addition of external sales executive Colin Box.

No stranger to the construction industry, 38-year-old Colin from Belton has worked in the merchant sector throughout Yorkshire for the past 10 years and is widely regarded as an expert on building materials and timber products.

Colin’s new role with Howarth will be to call on a range of customers in the region, dealing with building professionals and on-site contractors, and helping them specify building and timber materials, engineered timber systems and flooring options. He also has a broad knowledge of other products and their use in the construction cycle.

“It’s no secret that the industry has been hit hard by the recession, but in my experience there are still sizable contracts to be won,” said Colin. “The Howarth Group protected itself well during the downturn and is now poised to capitalise as the market slowly recovers.”
