Once your floor is finished is is important to make sure you do everything possible to protect it from scratching and damage. Felt pads should be fitted to the bottom of all furniture that comes into direct contact with the surface. This will help to reduce the unnecessary scratches which can often occur. Barrier mats should also be placed at all external doors to ensure that none of the grit or dirt, collected on shoes, is walked onto your floor's surface.
