PVA Bond is a multi-purpose product that is used in many building and DIY-based applications. It is designed to bond materials together, with the added benefits of also acting as a primer, sealer as well as an admixture for both plaster and cement when needed.  

At Howarth Timber & Building Supplies, we offer a range of PVA options to suit your different needs and materials: 

501 PVA Bond. Suitable for: 

  • Use to stick wood, paper, cardboard, cork, and textiles 
  • An admixture or a bonding agent for mortars, screeds, and renders 
  • Primer and sealer for tiles 
  • Mix with plaster, wood shaving etc to create an internal filler 

Sikabond Waterproof PVA. Suitable for: 

  • Internal and external work 
  • Waterproofing admixtures and adhesives 
  • Use with mortars, renders, screeds, plaster, and brickwork 
  • Toughening floors and screeds 

SikaBond PVA+. Suitable for:  

  • An adhesive, primer, bonding agent, sealer, dustproofer and admixture for building applications including with plasters and concrete 
  • Use to stick wood, paper, cork, and textiles 
  • Mix with plaster, wood shaving etc to create an internal filler 

Febond White PVA The Original. Suitable for:  

  • An adhesive for most of the commonly used building materials to bond them to themselves as well as each other 
  • To bond screeds and renders to surfaces made from plaster, brick, stone, and concrete  
  • An admixture in types of cement or sand and granolithic screeds 
  • A sealing coat for plaster, granolithic floor, plasterboards, and concrete renders 
  • Not suitable for use with rubber, PVC or polythene  

General Purpose PVA. Suitable for: 

  • An adhesive for most of the commonly used building materials to bond them to themselves as well as each other 
  • To bond screeds and renders to surfaces made from stone, brick, and concrete, including new to existing concrete 
  • An admixture in a mortar, as well as granolithic and sand, cement screeds 
  • A sealing coat for renders, plasterboards, plaster, and granolithic floors.
