Cavity Tray Brickwork Catchment

The GW293 Catchment Tray is placed at the abutment's lowest point. Water that runs down from the trays above is collected and carefully channelled out of the wall by up supports at both ends of the tray. To drain the collected water, a G950 Weep Vent must be used in combination with this tray. The front mortar clip on the tray can be removed at any moment after the mortar has set, leaving a 25mm deep slot into which the lead is put and secured using lead wedges.The tray also has an injection-molded mortar trap, which assures a clean water channel by limiting the chance of mortar droppings and other debris entirely obstructing the tray. However, the trays should still be kept clear of mortar and other building waste.
