Product Description
Celotex PL4000 range is an easy to install rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with a paper facing, laminated to a sheet of 12.5mm plasterboard with a tapered edge. This combination board of plasterboard and insulation saves time and hassle on site as it creates a 2-in-1 solution to insulate and also dry line walls or roofs at the same time. These boards are lightweight and rigid, which means it is easy to transport, handle and also install. It offers exceptional thermal performance with a thermal conductivity from 0.022 W/m.K, and is also available in a range of thicknesses from 25mm to 65mm (add 12.5mm for the plasterboard for total thickness). It's high thermal efficiency reduces the thickness of insulation required to hit the target U-value.
The Celotex PL4000 range has been assessed by the BBA and is fit for use in plasterboard thermal laminate applications, including: between and under rafters in pitched and flat roofs, solid masonry and masonry cavity walls and timber frame lining applications. It can also be considered for use in roof and internal wall lining applications.
