Both are garden buildings constructed from timber, but the most noticeable difference between log cabins and summerhouses is their size. In general log cabins are larger, with more space inside. The second difference is the timber that is used in garden log cabins, which is considerably thicker creating a stronger construction. How to maintain a log cabin?

Then, you can make sure that the walls are UV protected and that the foundation of your log cabin has a sufficient slope to promote effective drainage.
