Garden tools are key to keeping on top of maintaining your outdoor space. Some handy gardening tools available from us are:

Landtex Landscape Fabrics
Landscape fabrics are used to keep weeds at bay, this fabric is ideal for use in any area where you would like plants to thrive, including rockeries and flower beds that require good drainage.

Hose
A hose takes a lot of the effort out of watering your garden. It is much easier to keep your lawn and plants healthy and hydrated if you are using a good hose rather than multiple trips with a watering can.

Wheelbarrows
Wheelbarrows available from us are durable and hardy, making it easier to move heavy or messy materials around such as soil and aggregates.

Pressure washers
Pressure washers are a fast, effective and easy way to clean your patio, decking, or garden furniture. These are a brilliant gardening tool that can be used for other purposes such as cleaning your car.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to clean garden tools?
To clean garden tools, wash away any soil first before soaking the tools in soapy water. This will help remove residual soil. Once they’ve soaked for a long period of time, rinse and dry the tools with a dry cloth. This is also when you could also check any tools for signs of rust.
What are the must have garden tools?
We would recommend the following garden tools to include in your collection: Weeder, garden scissors, soil knife, hand trowel, pruning shears and water hose/sprinkler system.
How to sharpen garden tools?
First, before sharpening any tools, check that any nuts and bolts are as tight as possible. If any nuts are loose, it could make the blades drift apart while cutting and tear the twig instead of cutting it cleanly. To sharpen your tools, we recommend using a file. To do this, start by filing the edge to expose the clean metal by mimicking the direction of the bevel like a golfer taking a practice putt. Be careful not to use small, jerky strokes or you’ll lose the factory edge. Repeat this motion several times until you expose clean metal over the whole edge. After that, sand the back side of the blade by using sandpaper and plywood.
