Routers

Routers are used to hollow out an area of wood or plastic. Traditionally, Routers used are a hand tool with a blade that slices off a thin top layer from the surface. However, these days Power Routers are more widely used, almost completely usurping the hand tool, although it is not unusual for individuals to favour the traditional option.

Several styles of Power Router currently exist, including:

  • Plunge
  • D-Handled
  • Double Knob Handled

Howarth Timber & Building Supplies offer Routers that have variable speeds, and are available with various power inputs and voltages.
