A Pressure Treated Arris Rail has been designed to support fence structures installed along the back of Feather Edge Boards. The shape of the rail minimises rain water collection.
Arris Rails are sometimes referred to as a Timber Angle fillet or a Tilt Fillet. As a fillet, these are mainly used on flat roofs to put around the perimeter to add a slight pitch for rainwater run off and as an edging detail prior to the final roof covering of choice being installed. The triangular section of softwood can be used on a variety of applications other than flat roofs, including outdoor framework and sheds as a means to fill gaps between two joists connected at an angle.
Brown Treated rails are pressure treated to ensure durability and prevent rot and are ideal to create a traditional boarded fence. The treatment classification is User Class 3 or UC3u; providing robust protection against rot and decay, making it perfectly suited for above-ground outdoor applications. Further treatment, staining or paint is recommended to enhance the appearance of the product over it's lifetime.
Howarth is committed to supplying the highest quality, sustainable timber fencing products. Manufactured from FSC certified sawn timber, so you have complete peace of mind that the timber is procured from sustainable sources.
Please note: Timber and stone are natural materials, and as such, variation in colour, texture, and natural markings is to be expected. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible through imagery; however, colours and shades may appear differently depending on individual monitor settings such as brightness, temperature, and contrast. These variations are not considered defects.
