Fillers and putty are primarily used for filling and repairing gaps and all cracks within walls (external and internal), providing structure and support. Once dried, they can be sanded, stained, varnished or painted to provide the required finish.

There are many different types of fillers and putty suitable for different applications with some being more flexible allowing for natural movement, such as those used in wood, and others providing a more solid fill.

How to use wood filler on a door frame?

To use wood filler on a door frame, start off by scraping out any flaking and splinters of paint from the damaged parts by using a wire brush.
