Roof Ventilation

By creating an effective air flow, our range of easy to install soffit, tile or slate vents let warm air from the inside flow outside and bring cooler air inside, which minimises condensation formation.

For cold roof ventilation, securely fix roof edge tiles and prevent leaking with dry verge units and roll out dry ridge systems and ensure dampness does not permeate walls by using cavity trays.

You can also use a roof air ventilator to keep the roof cavity cool by removing unwanted hot air and replacing it with cold, dry air. This is also an extremely efficient option for tackling chilly roof ventilation, especially for flat roof ventilation.

Remember that roofs don’t just need protection from the elements – keep birds and insects away from roof tiles with eaves comb fillers.

How to ventilate a flat roof?
To ensure sufficient ventilation, enough space must be provided to allow for the movement of air, preventing the risk of condensation forming within the roof. To do this, a ventilation gap of 50mm must be in place between the insulation and the underside of the flat roof.
