Blocks
Blocks (also known as building blocks) are manufactured from concrete or cement for use in construction. They are similar to bricks but lightweight, larger in size, and chosen for function rather than appearance. They usually have a hollow core giving them good insulating properties. Blocks are often used as foundation blocks, or to construct loadbearing or retaining walls.

Concrete Block
Concrete blocks are manufactured from concrete, cast in a mould. They are a popular choice due to being inexpensive, strong, and durable.
Solid Block
Dense Concrete Blocks are adaptable for several building applications, both above and below ground, particularly useful for building cavity or solid walls. Solid blocks with a standard finish provide an excellent base for plastering or rendering.
Lightweight Block
Lightweight blocks are manufactured from expanded clay aggregate, with a ceramic exterior and honeycomb centre. These blocks offer great thermal and sound insulation. Being lightweight, these blocks can be considered safer and easier to work with, whilst still being strong and insulating.
Hollow Block
Hollow blocks are excellent for structural work including high strength retaining walls, external walls, and cavity walls. They are incredibly durable, fire resistant and low maintenance. Plaster or render can be applied if you wish to paint them with a nice finish.
Breeze Block
Breeze blocks are a structurally reliable option, with excellent insulation properties. They are sometimes referred to as Cinder Blocks, as they are manufactured from cinder (coal) aggregate.
Foundation Block
Foundation blocks are manufactured from concrete and more economically friendly in comparison with older foundation materials.
Aerated Blocks
Aerated blocks are lightweight, strong, and reliable. They are commonly used as infill for beam and block flooring. Other uses include building cavity walls, separating walls, foundations, as well as flanking and partition walls. The most commonly used aerated block is the H+H Celcon Block, available in Solar, Standard, High Strength, and Super Strength grades
