Builders metalwork includes the key fixings required for most construction projects, including joist hangers, restraint straps, timber connectors, truss clips and joist struts. Made from galvanised steel, they’re available in a variety of sizes to suit any requirements, and can be ordered online for home delivery or to click and collect from your local Howarth Timber branch.

    Expamet Scrolled Hip Irons 300 x 25 x 3mm (HIP3003)

    This galvanised mild steel Hip Iron is designed to provide decorative restraints to prevent ridged tile movement on hipped roofs. Where a ridge comes down at an angle, the iron is nailed to the joist before bedding the final tile, to prevent any slippage.
