Roofing

At Howarth timber, all our roofing products meet, and often exceed, the demands set out by the building regulations. As, the way in which we form, cover, and insulate our roof structures has changed considerably over the past few years, so Howarth continues to remain at the forefront of offering roofing products from a variety of suppliers. From roof slates to roof battens, we have everything online and available for your next roofing project.

Our range includes:

Weather protection

Weather protection is important for your roofs as it ensures that your roof and the interior of the building are free from moisture, rot, and decay. Our range includes roofing felt, roof flashing and GRP roofing systems.

Roof felt is used as a type of roofing underlayment, often added between your roof shingles and the decking. Whereas roof flashing is a thin material that roofers and builders use to waterproof areas of the roof, particularly areas that are at risk of leaks. Rubber roofing can also be used for this, as it is known to form an impermeable seal.

Safety

Household fireplaces and gas appliances work by emitting toxic fumes. To ensure that those fumes are removed safely, you’ll need chimneys, roof tiles, and flues.

Our roofing tiles are available in a wide range of materials with various designs. Our roof windows are also a great addition to a home, as they are a simple way of adding natural light into roof spaces that have been converted into living areas.
We also sell a selection of roofing nails, clout nails and roofing battens to use in your roofing applications.

For expert advice and guidance on the best GRP roofing for your property, please contact your friendly local Howarth branch.
