3x2 C16 graded timber carcassing is commonly used for vertical non-load bearing stud positions.
C16 is normally the grade that is produced from faster grown UK timber, however this is imported timber so it is slower grown foreign timber.
It is machined to have rounded edges, smooth faces, and sides, for a more uniform piece of timber. It is kiln dried to minimise moisture content and improve strength and stability. The finished size you will receive is 45mm x 70mm.
Carcassing is a standard term term that means the timber is used to form floors, walls, ceilings and roofs of properties. All our timber has full chain of custody, meaning our timber is sourced responsibly.
Please note: Timber and stone are natural materials, and as such, variation in colour, texture, and natural markings is to be expected. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible through imagery; however, colours and shades may appear differently depending on individual monitor settings such as brightness, temperature, and contrast. These variations are not considered defects.
