Expamet Masonry Single Piece Joist Hanger 175 x 47mm (SPSH17547)

This single piece joist hanger from Expamet is to be built in to masonry - No mechanical fixings required to wall. 3.75x30 square twisted nails to connect joist. Back of hanger must be tight against wall. Joists are to be cut square with a gap not exceeding 6mm from the rear of the hanger. A minimum 675mm of set masonry must be in place over support flange before loads are applied. Joist to be nailled through side gusset using 3.75x30mm square twisted nails. The underside of joists should be notched to provide a level surface for plasterboarding. Safe working load kN - 3.5N/mm2 Masonry For joist height of 175mm and joist width of 38mm-89mm is 5kN. For 100mm-125mm wide then 7kN. For 150mm then 7.5kN. Designed for Joists that are 175mm high by either 47mm, 75mm, 100mm, or 175mm wide.
