Product Description
The Blakedown Log Cabin is the largest model with an apex roof available from Forest Garden. Its enormous internal floor area of 21 square metres (228 square feet) and its 6 x 4 metre footprint make it the perfect choice for a multi-use building, whether you need extra living space, a large office, or plenty of space for recreational activities like a home gym, workshop, hobby room, or a combination of these. Because the apex of the typical apex roof shape is 2.47 metres high, there is a little more head room inside the cabin (approx 2.5m inside). Along with the double-glazed double doors, the front of the house also has three additional 3/4-length windows with tilt-and-turn opening mechanisms that may be opened either traditionally or with the top of the window open by tilting the window back. Two more tilt-and-turn windows are present, one in each side wall. As the cabin is constructed, the doors can be placed on either the left or right side of the front aspect. Interlocking logs measuring 45 mm thick are used to build the walls, while 19 mm tongue and groove boards are used to build the floor and roof. Toughened glass is double-glazed in every window.
