Though simply designed it is a functional building with a contemporary pent roof design and a footprint. It has an attractive, fully glazed front aspect that brings in plenty of light into the room while maximising wall space, making the Elmley ideal for a variety of uses such as home office, hobby room or even a garden gym. Its outstanding features include 19mm tongue and groove floor and ceiling, 45mm thick interlocking log walls, double glazed double doors, two tilt and turn double glazed front windows, and a 3/4 length double glazed tilt and turn side window that can be placed in either the left or right wall. The toughened glass is double glazed in every window. Polyester felt with and without underlay is also an option (this felt much stronger and more tear resistant and has a life expectancy of up to 15 years when fitted correctly). This model is a 24kg Polyester felt with no underlay. Every delivery is made by a vehicle equipped with a crane off-load facility and a professional assembly service that is optional. The base for the log cabin needs to be sturdy and levelled out with poured concrete ideally.
