Garador Roller doors

Garador roller garage doors open vertically and roll into a small box at the head of the garage door opening, taking up little room inside. This space-saving design allows you to make the most of the available space in your garage. Garador have two roller garage door models: the GaraRoll and the GaraGlide.

The space-saving design of the GaraRoll roller garage door is combined with the convenience of an electrically controlled door. These roller garage doors, which are available in a variety of colours and timber effect foil coatings, may be installed either between or behind the opening.

The GaraGlide combines the ease of an automated roller garage door with a tubular motor-driven development. It is an excellent solution for people looking for a low-cost roller door because it is substantially less expensive.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best garage door type?
Choosing the right door type for your garage can sometimes be quite difficult as for most larger garages all the options can be installed so which one would be best is a matter of thinking hard about the use of the garage. A simple example is the massive increase we have seen over the last few years in the sales of insulated garage doors where the garage is being used as a workshop, playroom, office and so on. In these cases, the size is not important, but the insulation is. Make a list of your requirements - Security, insulation, colour, material and so on before discussing it with a Garador specialist who can then suggest the best types for you.
How long does a garage door installation take?
Garador makes every effort to finish the installation on the same day to assure security, especially if the building has multiple garage doors. For convenience and security, they would send as many installers as needed for a one-day installation, but some products will take much longer to install regardless of how many installers are used. Large round-corner doors, complicated timber hinged door sets, specialised doors such as ET500 or ALR40 sectional doors, and various other advanced products such as glass rooms or fixed roof systems are examples of these.
What is the warranty period?
This depends on the manufacturer, however it is generally 5 years for hardware and 2 - 5 years for electrical components. Many manufacturers will provide a guarantee with a time restriction for funding the labour to repair an item. The warranty may cover the component or item for 5 years, but after 2 years, just the part is replaced under warranty, and you may have to pay for the labour element.
How much maintenance is required on a garage door?
If properly specified and installed, you should rarely need to touch your garage door, but it is always best to keep it clean and dust-free. Electric doors, on the other hand, require more care and regular maintenance. Most garage doors today are made with much better materials than in the past, with galvanising and zinc plating aiding in the preservation of the springs, cables, and other important parts. The primary remote control electric doors should be maintained and examined once a year, or more frequently if they are used often. This is done to ensure that the safety mechanisms are completely operational and that the door is working as smoothly as possible so that the safety devices can be adjusted to the optimal level of sensitivity.
What maintenance is required on a timber garage door?
The key to a simple long-term care programme with external timber products is to treat the door correctly in the first place. To avoid the possible challenges of applying treatment on site, most timber garage doors and side doors can now be ordered with a high grade factory finish treatment.
