ISOVER Cavity Wall Slab (CWS) 36 is a glass mineral wool slab that is made from 75% recycled glass with a water repellent binder that makes these strong, resilient, and flexible insulation slabs. Cavity Slab 36 offers exceptional thermal performance in external masonry cavity walls. With a thermal conductivity of 0.036 W/m.K. hence the name Slab 36. This helps reduce heat loss within the building envelope and decreases energy costs. Manufactured to 455mm wide they are designed to fit between standard wall tie spacing. Slabs can be tightly butted together and the inner face will accommodate substrate irregularities to maximise the thermal performance. BBA certification - third-party verification that the product has been assessed for its defined application and is compliant with the relevant Building Regulations. It is manufactured from a non-combustible material and achieves Euroclass A1 Reaction to Fire classification.
