About this product...
Crafted from high-quality, responsibly sourced timber, so you have complete peace of mind that our matching skirting or architrave is procured from ethical sources.
This timber moulding features a classic pencil round profile, with a gently rounded top edge that softens the overall look and adds a subtle decorative finish.
Timber skirting boards conceal the unpleasant joint where the wall meets the floor. They can also protect the area from feet and furniture knocking the targeted area on passing. Our matching timber architrave is the perfect solution for creating a clean, modern transition between walls and door frames, delivering both style and reliability.
Architrave typically measures up to 90mm height, with skirting measuring anywhere above that, typically UK homes suit taller sized skirting. However, there is a practical crossover point of around 90-100mm tall where it comes down the personal preference of where the boards can be used.
Regularised timber has gone through a machine which rounds the edges and smooths the faces and sides of the piece. This operation uniforms the timber. A nominal size relates to the rough sawn and unprocessed dimensions of timber as it is cut. The Finished size relates to the timber that has been machined (this involves a series of sharp cutters revolving at high speeds over the timber), shaving it down to a smooth and more uniform dimension, that is more attractive.
Please note: Timber and stone are natural materials, and as such, variation in colour, texture, and natural markings is to be expected. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible through imagery; however, colours and shades may appear differently depending on individual monitor settings such as brightness, temperature, and contrast. These variations are not considered defects.
