Plywood PRC B/BB Hardwood Poplar EN636-2S Class 2 FSC 12 x 2440 x 1220mm (8x4)

Built with a poplar core for consistent density and easy machining, it features a B-grade face and BB-grade reverse, providing a smooth, workable surface suitable for furniture making, cabinetry, shopfitting and general joinery.

Plywood is several panels comprising of at least 3 layers of veneered wood called plies which are bonded together with adhesives. With each ply produced at right angles to the adjacent layer to improve strength and reduce the possibilities of shrinkage along with making it more structurally stable. The outer layers of ply are referred to as face & back are graded based on quality of the face and reverse, the layer in between face & back is more commonly know as the core.

This plywood is tested to Class 2 glue bond Humid Conditions; meaning it is protected external service, 'damp' internal uses and limited exposure during construction. Therefore, intended for internal use and can occasionally withstand the risk of getting wet, such as from spillages or water leaks.

The durability technical class of the plywood board is EN636-2S, which means its good for internal use and humid locations where occasional wetting and condensation could occur, such as within the bathroom.

Manufactured from hardwood, it is extremely strong, perfect for constructing furniture, panelling, doors, and much more. This plywood sheet is available in a range of sizes, including 18mm and 12mm.
