This UC2 treated carcassing has a rough sawn finish, which is pressure treated to prolong timbers lifespan and protect rot or insect attack. This non- structural softwood is ideal for construction projects. This product has FSC certification and full chain of custody so you can have total peace of mind that it is responsibly sourced wood.
UC2 treated or Use Class 2 wood is for end uses where wood is used indoors, above ground and within the building envelope, but with an occasional risk of wetting. (from plumbing leaks for example). This product is 25mm x 38mm, finished sizes are approximately 5-6mm smaller than nominal sizes.
