The 25 x 50mm Picture Rail is a piece of moulding that fits around the length of a wall, roughly seven feet above the ground. Unlike most mouldings, which are generally for aesthetic purposes, the Picture Rail is functional, as paintings and picture frames - particularly large ones - are hung from the Rail using specialist wire and hooks. They are a great idea if you don't want to fix pictures directly to the wall, or if the pictures are too heavy for the type of wall that you have. The finished size of this product that you will recieve is: 20mm x 44mm
