The Cottingham Branch of Howarth Timber & Building Supplies is led by Carl Buckley. With over 30 years of experience in the builders' merchant industry, Carl's career journey began at Boards Cottingham back in 1990. After six years, he moved on to advance his career, as there were limited growth opportunities at Boards at that time. Over the years, he has contributed to the success of three other builders' merchants, developing both his expertise and their businesses. Returning to the same place where he started, he progressed from a machinist labourer, and driver to branch manager. This was a rewarding full-circle moment for Carl. When the opportunity to join Howarth Timber arose, the decision was an easy one.
More than a timber merchants, Howarth Timber Cottingham provides a wide range of services, including timber cutting, brick matching as well as price matching, FFSF housebuilding and on site parking, to the Cottingham and Hull areas.
The Cottingham branch has now been fully renovated, and the transformation looks fantastic! The shop, warehouse and showroom have all been given a fresh new look, creating a modern, welcoming space for both customers and colleagues. It’s a brilliant improvement for the branch and a great example of the continued investment being made across our sites
