These sturdy hardwood timber window Cills or sometimes known as Sills, form a protruding lip that helps to directs water away from the brickwork. These Scandinavian redwood mouldings naturally repel insects and does not need to be treated with chemicals for protection against them. The distinctive timber is easily identifiable by it's knots and markings and is ideal for construction as they are strong, durable and long lasting. Our collection of planed timber mouldings should always be treated and fixed in place as soon as possible to help minimise any movement, twisting and surface checking/­splitting that occurs naturally with changes in moisture content.
