These fencing boards are UC3u treated timber, meaning they perfect for outdoor use providing it is above ground. Examples of UC3u treated timber uses are outdoor decking, shed bases, posts, sleepers, use only UC4 for ground or in-water contact. Carcassing is a generic trade term which refers to the use of a species of timber. Spruce/Pine and Fir are used to form floors, walls, ceilings and roofs of properties for example. Unseasoned timber means timber than has not yet dried to a moisture content matched to its intended environment, which means it can still be used for for purpose. However you need to be aware of any shrinkage that may occur. All our timber has full chain of custody, meaning our timber is sourced responsibly.
