Deck Tape is a non-butyl self-sealing tape made of a super-strong polymer acrylic adhesive that seals totally watertight and weatherproof. Deck Tape protects any timber decking substructure and can be used with both traditional wood decking and more sophisticated composite decking. More moisture will be absorbed into the foundation when utilising a composite deck board since it will drain off the deck boards. If the frame is not adequately sealed, higher levels of moisture will cause it to deteriorate faster.
