Timber base for a Forest Garden shed. This wooden base is the quick and easy solution to shed installation as It provides an alternative to poured concrete or concrete slabs. The base is simply screwed together with the provided fixings. Sheds require a solid base, which can make them costly and complex to install. These bases are durable and suited to direct ground contact due to the tiny inclusions in the timber that means the pressure treatment penetrates the timber for rot protection. This base will raise the shed away from the ground to prevent water splashback during heavy rain. Shed bases should be laid on levelled ground, if the ground is uneven a suitable prop material should be used. It is not recommended that sheds are built directly onto grass, but you may be able to install a shed onto grass with this base as long as a suitable heavy duty weed membrane is fitted under the base.
