Classified as UC4, these Machine Round Pointed Fence Posts are suitable for permanent contact with the ground outdoors. It's no secret that UC4 treated softwood is the best choice for timber garden products. The treatment process involves kiln drying the timber down to around 28% moisture content before treatment, allowing it to penetrate deep into the wood. Without this intense kiln drying, water in the timber will prevent as much treatment getting into the material which makes it unsuitable for garden use.

The timber is imported redwood which is naturally durable and requires no incising as redwood will allow treatment to penetrate the outer sapwood with the inner heartwood being naturallly durable anyway.
