These redwood half round poles are a fantastic multipurpose feature for garden and landscaping projects. Popular within the agriculture market but also great for making borders or sections within most gardens. Classified as UC3, these Machine Half Round poles are suitable for any above ground applications outdoors. The treatment process involves kiln drying the timber down to around 28% moisture content before treatment, allowing it to penetrate deep into the wood. Without this intense kiln drying, water in the timber will prevent as much treatment getting into the material which makes it unsuitable for garden use. The timber is imported redwood which is naturally durable and requires no incising as redwood will allow treatment to penetrate the outer sapwood with the inner heartwood being naturallly durable anyway.
