About this product...

Carcassing is a generic trade term term meaning the timber is used to form floors, walls, ceilings and roofs of properties. All our timber has full chain of custody, meaning our timber is sourced responsibly. This timber is kiln dried to minimise moisture content and improve strength and stability, as well as pressure treated with preservatives to improve rotting resistance. Unseasoned timber means timber than has not yet dried to a moisture content matched to its intended environment, which means it can still be used for for purpose. However you need to be aware of any shrinkage that may occur. Please note: Timber and stone are natural materials, and as such, variation in colour, texture, and natural markings is to be expected. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible through imagery; however, colours and shades may appear differently depending on individual monitor settings such as brightness, temperature, and contrast. These variations are not considered defects.
