Product Description
Make your life easier on your next project with the Spax Hi.Force T30, a reliable wood construction screw. Their strengths, such as a greatly reduced screwing torque and the very low splitting effect, are particularly in demand in timber construction, since the large dimensions of wood usually used mean that fast screwing in of the wood screws means real time savings. We take advantage of this, especially in structural timber construction, where our partially and fully threaded screws are used for heavy-duty and durable timber connections are used.
You can basically divide all of our screws into two groups: Screws with partial threadsand fully threaded screws. The screws with a partial thread are ideal for fastening components such as wood-based panels, boards, floorboards, but also squared timber to load-bearing components such as stud frames or posts (here with our HI.FORCE). While the thread makes its way in the load-bearing component, the unthreaded shank of the partially threaded screw should pull completely through the upper attachment. As the screw is screwed in further, the screw head will pull the upper component towards the lower component. Screwing in the screw creates the maximum contact pressure between the two components. Of course, this effect is ideal when the unthreaded shaft is at least as thick as the attachment. That means for you: Nothing can be tightened tighter in timber construction than with partially threaded screws.
