Use masking tape to create a neat edge along the joint. Apply a bead of silicone sealant along the joint where the bath meets the walls and floor, smoothing it with a sealant tool or your finger. Remove the masking tape immediately after applying the sealant to ensure a clean finish. Allow the sealant to cure fully according to the manufacturer’s instructions before using the bath.
How to change bath taps?
To change bath taps, first, turn off the water supply to the taps. Open the taps to release any remaining water in the pipes. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the nuts securing the old taps to the bath. Disconnect the water supply pipes from the taps. Install the new taps by connecting them to the water supply pipes and securing them with the nuts. Tighten everything carefully, ensuring a good seal. Turn the water supply back on, check for leaks, and test the new taps to ensure they are working properly.
How to remove bath sealant?
To remove bath sealant, start by cutting away as much of the old sealant as possible using a utility knife or a sealant remover tool. Be careful not to scratch the surrounding surfaces.
