Bostik Plasterers Grit Primer Plasprime Technology Green 10 Litre (30625351)

This Plasterer’s Grit has been specially developed by Bostik for the plastering professional. Previously called Plasterer’s Stabilising Primer, it primes and stabilises most interior surfaces to give extra grip prior to the application of new plaster. It’s perfect for re-skimming and can be applied straight from the bucket onto previously plastered walls, as well as other porous and non-porous surfaces including brick, blocks, concrete, render and plasterboard. Bostik Plasterer’s Grit is coloured green to show uniform coverage and only one coat is required using a short pile roller or soft brush to provide an even key for plaster. It gives a more uniform surface that dries evenly, providing excellent adhesion and a faster, easier finish. It reduces suction on porous surfaces, allowing a consistent plastering working time and reducing the risk of cracking. Unlike other plaster bonding agents, Plasterer’s Grit contains patented technology using 100% recycled plastic to provide a mechanical key before applying plaster. The plastic is suspended in the product meaning there's no mixing required before use. This ensures an evenly distributed key is achieved when applied to the wall, which provides a much-improved substrate for plastering. This plaster bonding agent is a water based polymers and recycled material composition, that dries approximately within 24 hours, obviously depending on ambient conditions. Apply Bostik Plasterer's Grit straight from the bucket with a short pile roller or soft brush, to give an even texture over the entire surface. Only one coat is required. Do not dilute. Allow to dry completely. Drying times are dependent on the porosity of the surface and ambient conditions. Once dry, apply new plaster in the usual way.
