Michael Ingham
Branch Manager
The Accrington Branch of Howarth Timber & Building Supplies is led by Michael Ingham. With over 20 years at Howarth Timber and a career in the building supplies industry spanning nearly four decades, Michael brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the Accrington branch. He has been Branch Manager since the site opened in October 2008 and has played a key role in its continued success ever since.
His career began straight after leaving school in 1985, working in a small builders’ yard serving customers. He then progressed to driving delivery vehicles, before being promoted to the sales counter and later moving into external sales. After a successful period as a rep, he spent four years working for a brick matching company before joining Howarth Timber in Blackburn in 2004.
Under his leadership, the branch offers a wide range of services and facilities, including a timber cutting service, brick matching service, a flooring and internal door showroom, a plumbing counter and bathroom showroom.
Known for his hands-on experience and deep understanding of the trade, Michael leads a knowledgeable team committed to delivering quality products, expert advice and exceptional customer service. So, come join us in branch and say hello – we’re always happy to help!
