The Bury St Edmunds Branch of Howarth Timber & Building Supplies is led by Owen Atkinson with over 35 years of experience in the building materials industry. Owen brings a wealth of expertise to Howarth Timber with his career beginning in 1989 as a Yard Operative and has since evolved into a successful management career spanning over 20 years. His experience includes sales, merchandising, re-branding, and acquisitions, making him a well-rounded leader in the industry.
Since joining Howarth BSE over three years ago, Owen Atkinson has overseen operations at a branch that offers an extensive range of services and products, including on-site HSS Hire presence for tool and equipment hire, brick matching, roof take-offs, and a full range of materials from footings to chimney pots. The branch also has a Plumbing and Heating department with site delivery and a dedicated milling service for cut panels, timber firrings and more!
With excellent access from the A14, Howarth BSE is ideally located to serve both trade professionals and developers. Supported by a fleet of 18-tonne and 26-tonne crane lorries, the branch ensures efficient and reliable deliveries.
