Stuart Wilkinson
Branch Manager
The Cheadle Branch of Howarth Timber & Building Supplies is led by Stuart Wilkinson. Stuart brings over 40 years of hands-on experience in the building trade, having started his career straight from school. Originally qualifying as an electrician, he stepped into the world of builders’ merchants in 1990 and hasn’t looked back since. Between 1998 and 2002, Stuart was self-employed, focusing on house renovations and refurbishments. He then returned to the builders' merchant industry, where he’s built a strong and steady career ever since.
Stuart joined Howarth Timber & Building Supplies in January 2020 at the Sale branch before moving to Cheadle in May 2021. A true family man, Stuart is passionate about football, and has taken part in several charity runs, including 10Ks and half marathons. He’s also known to get involved in local charity football matches whenever he can.
The Cheadle branch is home to a fully fitted Kitchen Showroom managed by Mitch, along with a dedicated Plumbing & Heating and Bathrooms department headed up by Paul. Our Sales Executive, Dipak, is also on hand to assist with any queries. We offer specialist services including timber cutting and brick matching, catering to both trade professionals and the general public.
