Door Frame Sizes
In England and Wales, the most common door frame width is 762mm. The most typical door frame width in Scotland is 726mm. To accommodate all door sizes, door frames can be provided pre-assembled or in component components that can be trimmed to size.
There is no standard UK door frame size since the size of
the frame you require is determined by the size of the aperture. Because door
frame fitting is challenging and needs precise accuracy, we always recommend
talking with a skilled joiner.
