Classic oak planks with tongue and groove edges are full of rustic charm and finished to a high specification using brushed and oil technique. Oak trees are grown in managed forests and selected for their maturity, but no two trees are the same. This means it creates real character for your flooring than repetitive laminate. Flooring is also available in Light smoked oak. Rustic Floors can contain varying size live and filled dead knots. Color variation, sapwood, heartwood and end-checks (filled splits). The oak top layer is chosen for its natural beauty, therefore grading criteria is always an approximation as every piece of timber is different. If further selection is needed, please allow for extra material upon installation.
