Stuart Wilkinson has led the team as Branch Manager for Cheadle since May 2021 and shares his industry knowledge with the team and customers of Howarth. Before that, Stuart worked at the Howarth Sale branch, and his entry into the industry began after completing a City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Installation.

Cheadle is a medium sized builders’ merchant and timber branch, well facilitated with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom showroom, a plumbing and heating section, and of course excellent timber stock, each managed by our dedicated experts in those fields. Our branch is particularly popular for heavyside products, plaster, plasterboard, roof windows, flooring, and landscaping products.

We are equipped with 2 wagons and a van, enabling us to deliver your orders, large or small, to your home or job site.

We are proud to offer a complimentary, no obligation kitchen design service, a useful brick matching service, and an on-site timber cutting service.

On arrival at our branch if you are visiting for timber and building materials, park in the yard and one of our friendly team will load your vehicle, they will then give you a tally ticket to bring with you to the shop sales counter in the main building.

If you are visiting for our showroom, we have designated showroom parking, including disabled parking, in front of the kitchen showroom.
