Designed with safety and durability in mind, this newel turning is part of a quality range by Richard Burbidge. The components are all manufactured to the exacting standards for which Richard Burbidge has become renown for. The half newel is constructed to be utilized on landings, and fitted to a wall to terminate the handrail and banister. The newel incorporates a 50mm diameter spigot for fitting into a newel base. These newels are constructed for Post-to-Post handrail systems where the handrail fits between the newel posts. Familiar in style, this range is aimed at the professional tradesman but can be similarly utilized by the DIY enthusiast to build a staircase that looks differentiated and advanced in any setting. All components are fabricated from the finest pine timber. Ideal for familiar fixing with mortise and tenon joint. Pine softwood accepts paint, varnish and woodstains.
