Product Description
From the Richard Burbidge Trademark range, a turned pine Tulip newel post. This newel turning is part of a high-quality Richard Burbidge collection that has been meticulously engineered for safety and long-term use. Every component is made to Richard Burbidge's rigorous standards. A 50mm diameter spigot is included at the base of the newel to allow it to be installed into a newel base. These newels are meant to be used with post-to-post railing systems, in which the handrail is installed between the newel posts. This traditional-styled variety is geared at professional tradespeople, but it can also be used by DIY enthusiasts to produce a distinguished and classy staircase in any situation. The finest pine wood is used to make all of the components. Traditional fastening is ideal with mortise and tenon joint. Pine softwood accepts paint, varnish and woodstains.
